Q. Why can't you wear shorts at church?
I Corinthians 3:16,17
16Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that
God's Spirit lives in you? 17If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is
sacred, and you are that temple.
Holy- Set Apart. God is Holy, set apart.
What makes me (you) Holy, pure, different?
Something that makes you set apart from the world is you made a choice. God's plan found in the Holy
Bible.
Q. Is my temple pure?
What is pure? How do you stay pure?
Being pure steps to being Holy.
Responsibilities that God gives you after receiving the Holy Ghost... Have to have a strong foundation
by your prayer time and reading your Bible.
Young People, things they shouldn't do...Smoke, drink, sexual activities, cursing, cutting hair.
Women can't or shouldn't wear pants, men shouldn't wear shorts, go to the movies.
Q. Should guys swim with girls? No
Be modest. When you go into the world you can be modest and still have fun. Being pure is not just
physical, it's in the heart and mind. Don't mistake innocence with purity.
Temptation = Sin
Purity = Holiness
Q. How do you deal with temptation? You flee.
You have to have a strong foundation in the word of God to be pure. Ezra 8:28
Q. What do you have to give up to become close to God? Sports, friends, people, jobs, clothes, etc.
Don't be like the world or everyone else. ! Peter 1:15,16 15But just as he who called you is holy, so be
holy in all you do; 16for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."
Q. What does this mean Be ye Holy in any manner of conversation? Often judged on appearance.
Holiness comes with great responsibility. Actions speak louder than words. How you treat each other.
Holiness is a life style, something you have to do your entire life.
Girls have it harder than guys.
Important to treat parents with respect and others. Keep away from things that make you fall deeper
into sin.

Romans 12:1 (Great verse to memorize) 1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to
offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

Conform: Give into, follow everyone else. Do not be conformed.
! Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God,
that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
We are a chosen generation. God chose us. Even if you choose not to follow.
